We want to introduce you to a kayak with an outrigger. They are made in Seattle WA by Easy Rider. The 17' fiberglass hull is designed to accept carbon crosstubes in the deck. This allows an 8' Ama to be installed to counterbalance the effects of a large upwind sail. We have sailed this type of rig a couple thousand miles and are impressed by the versatility of a high volume kayak this stable. You can fit the sail rig in the back hatch and still have room for a ton of camping gear. I have put a cooler on the trampoline and gone out on multi day trips and had half n half with coffee each morning! The cockpit is generous and standing up is no problem, call or email if you would like to know more about this Kayak. It is available in several configurations and will start at about $3900 with sail rig. This sells new for over $5500.00
